2017, solid pine, birch plywood, OSB board

The goal for our client was to create a storage space for their 122 sqm open loft space in downtown Athens. We designed a building within a building. The structure stands detached from walls and ceiling, open to the ceiling, with 2 entrances, 2 walls of storage, and one exterior bookcase propylaea inspired by the one visible from their terrace. Three standard size panels of plywood extend beyond the limits of the storage spaces to shield them from the intense Athens sunshine (streaming through their west facing wall of glass).
