How to install the telescopic stem

1. At the top of the structure, locate the eye loop, which is fixed in place. The quick links will be hooked here. You will also find the power supply wire exiting the structure next to the eye loop.

This wire is a flexible copper 3X0.75mm². The ground wire connects to the bronze, while the hot and neutral wires connect to the 8 individual G9 sockets inside the brass cylindrical component.

2. Place the body of the lighting structure on a soft surface on the floor to protect it.

3. Connect at least 4 quick links together, leaving the last one open. Hook the open quick link onto the eye loop and close it. Gently lay the quick link chain on the structure, protecting it with a soft cloth.

4. Take the wider tube of the stem (the one with a ring and 2 tightening screws). Pass the wire through the tube, ensuring the ring is facing up. Next, pass the quick links through the tube.

5. Both the wire and the eye loop should now be hidden inside the tube.

6. Ensure that the small tightening screws on the wide tube’s ring are sufficiently unscrewed so that the slimmer tube can pass through without difficulty.

7. Pass the wire through the slimmer tube (there is no specific orientation required). Pass the quick links through the slimmer tube as well, and slide the slimmer tube inside the wider one.

8. Allow both tubes to rest on the back of the structure.

Now, you can hang the structure from the ceiling and connect the wire to the electrical installation.

Finally, slide the slimmer tube upward until it reaches the gypsum board and tighten the small screws with a screwdriver to hold the slimmer tube in place.
